IU Credit Union employees started the new year at the Hoosier Hills Food Bank by helping sort food drive items and working in the Meal Share/Food Rescue program. The Meal Share/Food Rescue program takes food that has been donated from local restaurants and businesses and repackages it in family portions to be frozen and redistributed to those in need.
Volunteering is a great way to give back to our community and the HHFB has many well organized opportunities available. If your workplace or organization would like to help out, contact HHFB Volunteer Coordinator, Katie Haddad, at volunteer@hhfoodbank.org.
