IUCU Celebrates International Credit Union Day

We celebrated the 71st International Credit Union Day on Thursday, October 17th! Members stopping by received a sweet treat in celebration.

At its most basic level, a credit union is people pooling their money to provide each other with affordable loans-it is literally people helping people. This is why IU Credit Union celebrates ICU Day. Because credit unions empower people, wherever they are in the world or life, to take control of their financial future.

We are proud to have served our members since 1956, and are happy our members took the time out of their day to celebrate the credit union movement with us!

 

 

IUCU Participates in IU Homecoming Parade Fun!

The rain didn't stop us! We loaded up and tossed some candy and celebrated the Hoosiers at the IU Homecoming Parade! The parade started at 6:00 on 17th Street and followed Woodlawn to the Indiana Memorial Union. IU Credit Union is proud to be an official partner of IU Athletics!

 

 

IU Credit Union Helps Out Run Cancer!

Team IUCU came out in force to participate in the 20th annual Hoosiers Out Run Cancer. The Credit Union also serves as a corporate sponsor of the event. Presented by the Bloomington Health Foundation, the 2019 running had more than 5,000 participants, over 400 volunteers, and raised more than $300,000 for cancer patients and families in our community with needs beyond clinical care. We are already looking forward to next year!
