We’re excited to share that IU Credit Union is once again teaming up with WTIU/WFIU to support both public broadcasting and Hoosier Hills Food Bank.
For every donation made to WTIU/WFIU during their Giving Tuesday fund drive, IUCU will make a contribution to Hoosier Hills Food Bank—up to $3,000. When listeners and viewers support the stations, they’re also helping provide meals to people in our community.
In addition, IUCU will be running a food drive through the end of the year—both with our members and internally with employees. Be sure to stop by any IUCU Branch in Bloomington and look for the HHFB donation bins. Collections will take place through December 31. Please consider donating food to support our community! Thank you!

We were honored to be the presenting sponsor for the 7th annual Hope for the Holidays event benefitting New Hope for Families. A team of IUCU employees enjoyed judging the beautifully decorated holiday trees donated by local businesses, organizations, families, and community groups. All proceeds of this festive event support New Hope for Families—the only organization in Monroe County that provides emergency shelter where families experiencing homelessness can stay together.

IUCU’s Kevin Osborne is a veteran of the Foundation of Monroe County School’s Real Men Read program. Real Men Read is a kindergartener literacy initiative that builds strong reading skills and home libraries for every MCCSC kindergartener. As volunteer MENtors, Kevin and other IUCU employees visit classrooms throughout the school year to share stories, spark imagination and help young learners discover the joy of reading.
