Email Us

Your emails are only secure when sent through one of our Secure Email Systems. All emails containing sensitive information (i.e. account numbers, Social Security numbers, tax returns, W-2s, etc.) must be sent by following our Secure Email instructions.

In order to provide you with the latest in secure email communication, we have two secure email encryption options available:

Option 1: Online & Mobile Banking Secure Email

If you are an Online and/or Mobile Banking user, you have the option of sending a secure email. In Online Banking, you can find the Secure Email link under "Services & Tools" or "Contact Us." In Mobile Banking, the link is under "More." This email is automatically directed to our Member Service department. If you need your secure email directed to someone specific at the Credit Union or a department other than Member Services, please be sure to type the recipient's name in the message.

Registering for Secure Email Service
In order to send and receive secure emails to and from the IU Credit Union using the IU Credit Union secure email system, you must register your email address. It's quick, and will ensure the safety of your sensitive information through email. Click here to get started.

Receiving Secure Email
When you receive a secure email from IU Credit Union, it resides within the secure email system. You will receive an email notification with instructions on how to retrieve your Secure Email. Follow the instructions and log in with your email address and password to read your email.

Sending Secure Email
  • Click to enter the secure message center and log in using your registered email address and password
  • Click on the Compose tab
  • You may email an employee directly or use one of our group email addresses for general questions

    To email an employee directly, select "other" from the drop down menu and enter the employee's email address in the space provided. If sending to multiple employees, separate the email addresses with a comma.

    For general questions, select the appropriate support group from the drop down menu.

  • Enter your subject – Please note: subject lines cannot be encrypted. DO NOT include sensitive information in the subject line of a secure email.
  • Write your secure message
  • Attach documents ensuring that the total file size is less than 15MB – Please note: this feature is not available if accessing the system from a mobile device
  • Press the Send button
